
AMC Classic
AMC Classic was established as a value-centric brand after AMC Theatres acquired Carmike Cinemas and it made the combined company the largest movie theater chain in the country. To weave this new acquisition into the AMC family, while keeping the local and approachable feel, the majority of these properties have been converted to AMC Classic Theatres.
Imagery focused on the fun and meaningful interactions between guests, bold pops of orange, teal, and purple, and retro designs positioned AMC Classic as an approachable, friendly, and reliable brand.
The 2023 Refillable Annual Bucket Launch included a fun headline “Your Favorite Treat On Repeat”. The bucket is an AMC Classic concession favorite since it has unlimited refills all year long for a fraction of the price of a traditional large popcorn.






The 2024 Classic Popcorn Bucket launch encompassed a comprehensive marketing campaign, including in-theatre point-of-sale print materials, digital assets, movie preview video tactics, web imagery, email messaging, and both organic and paid social media promotions. The in-theatre preview tactics involved the development of a storyboard, video project management, and a voice-over session featuring AMC’s talented local voice artist.
