Kansas City Sister Cities Association
The Kansas City Sister Cities Association plays a crucial role in fostering international relationships and cultural exchanges between Kansas City and its sister cities around the world. With a mission to promote understanding and cooperation among non-profits, municipal governments, and corporations, the organization needed a refreshed brand identity that would effectively communicate its global vision and enhance recognition across various platforms.
After meeting with the board to discuss the project’s goals, it became clear that the new branding needed to reflect the organization’s global focus while also maintaining a connection to Kansas City. To achieve their objectives, the design strategy centered around incorporating a globe icon into the logo, symbolizing the organization’s international reach and commitment to global partnerships and also connecting to their previous brand look. The final result utilized multiple versions of their logo for different applications. The business card design showcases the various graphic elements of the re-brand.
